Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc. Announces Employee Promotions

Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc. is please to announce the following promotions:

 

Ajit Baridun has been promoted to Director of Business Development for Key Accounts for the company. Baridun has five years of experience in the material handling industry. His previous titles included project manager, program manager and manager of project execution.  “I am excited to utilize my experience and relationships built with the Hytrol Family, Integration Partner Network and end users to contribute to Hytrol’s strategic growth plan,” said Baridun. Baridun will work alongside with fellow members of the business development team and focus on Hytrol’s key accounts. “Ajit works tirelessly to serve our customers,” said Vice President of Business Development Mitch Smith. “His ability to create positive, results oriented relationships with our customers will be a major benefit to the Business Development team.” Baridun is a U.S. Army veteran and has a master’s in business administration. He also has several certifications in areas related to project management, international project management and management in engineering

 

Trav Tacker has been named Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc.’s Director of Parcel Business Development.  In his new role, Tacker is responsible for Parcel Business Development within Hytrol’s Integration Partner network and parcel end users.  “I look forward to bringing my technical background to this position as we grow our parcel team. I am also excited for the opportunity to learn new skills in Business Development as we grow our parcel business,” said Tacker. Tacker was a founding member of Hytrol’s Parcel Team. He has served the company as a design engineer, project engineer, project manager  and parcel product manager.  “Trav’s experience and knowledge with our parcel products are unmatched,” said Mitch Smith, Vice President of Business Development. “He is a great addition to our business development leadership.” Tacker has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Manufacturing and has 14 years of experience in the material handling industry.

 

Long-time employee Ken Maxwell will lead Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc.'s Project Management team. With his new title of Manager of Project Management, Maxwell will use his 35 years of experience with the company to focus on working with integrators, project managers, and coordinators to assure that project and overall business goals and objectives are met.  “I am excited about this new opportunity. I look forward to helping the Hytrol Project Management team develop new ways of executing projects,” said Maxwell. Maxwell was one of three employees that moved to project management when the department was founded in 1996.  "As a manager, project manager and systems engineer, I’ve worked with customers on hundreds of successful system projects and programs,” Maxwell stated. “The relationships built while working on those projects have been rewarding personally and professionally and are something I take great pride in. During my time here, I’ve worked hard to be a key contributor to the phenomenal growth of Hytrol.” Maxwell has a bachelor’s in Manufacturing Management and has obtained multiple certificates in management training.   “Ken will lead our team of Project Managers with dedication and commitment,” said Vice President of Business Development Mitch Smith. “His many years at Hytrol make him the perfect person to head up our Project Management team.”
