Gebrüder Mayer GmbH has ordered five palletisers and three packaging systems from BEUMER Group for the palletising and packaging of potting soils and bark mulch in various sized bags, as well as extensive solutions for batch transport. Delivery is scheduled for October 2022.
The portfolio of Gebrüder Mayer Produktions- und Vertriebs GmbH headquartered in Warenholz in the Gifthorn district of Lower Saxony includes peat and soil products, potting soil and also fertilisers. The company palletises and packages potting soil and bark mulch in 5 to 60 litre bags for the Rewe Group. Two palletisers, one manual palletiser for small bundles and two stretch wrapping machines are currently used for this purpose. In order to increase the performance and to meet the growing market requirements, Gebrüder Mayer GmbH has entrusted BEUMER Group with the supply, installation and commissioning of five palletisers of the paletpac series, a small packaging system as well as three BEUMER stretch hood® high-capactiy packaging systems. The system provider has developed a complex concept for transporting the empty and full pallets in batches that, among other things, consists of 13 turntables and four shuttle carts. Delivery, installation and commissioning of the complete system is scheduled by October 2022.
BEUMER Group has convinced not only with a good customer service throughout the whole period, but especially with a good technical concept and years of experience in this sector. In this project, this was exactly the crucial point why Gebrüder Mayer GmbH decided to work with the system provider. After all, the existing structural conditions in particular presented some challenges.
