TRAPO picker line forms any mixed trays
Consumers in the supermarket take the choice at a glance for granted: There are six different types of soup to choose from on a tray, a bar with 30 yogurts in many flavors, or a tray with three varieties of instant coffee. For the manufacturer, it used to be a challenge: Employees manually packed mixed trays from single-variety trays according to instructions.
The fully automated TRAPO picker line - adaptable to all industries, does this:
- Articulated arm robots depalletize single-sort trays and place the cans including trays on the conveyor belt.
- Delta pickers grab the cans one after the other and form them into any tray combinations.
- The gantry uses a suction plate to suck up the formed mixed formation and loads the trays provided.
- This is followed by palletizing of the mixed trays with another jointed-arm robot.
- If required, the pick and place application is supplemented by NIO applications.
Pick and place solutions include gripping, sorting, staging and packing in cardboard boxes and are based on the framework data of the product: the condition, weight and format.
Sustainable special solution
