Loftware Spectrum® 4.2 Offers Redesigned User Interface and Extends Label Printing to Mobile Devices

New Release Optimizes Usability, Performance and Responsiveness

Loftware, Inc., the global leader in Enterprise Labeling and Artwork Management solutions, announced the availability of Loftware Spectrum 4.2. This latest release highlights a new User Interface (UI), which was designed based on detailed customer feedback, and is optimized for usability, performance, and responsiveness. It also furthers control to manage labeling process across a global landscape by enabling users to the access the Spectrum digital platform through mobile devices.
 
Spectrum’s revamped interface includes new streamlined navigation, color scheme, plus a more intuitive page layout to streamline the user experience and reduce the number of clicks required, while increasing overall responsiveness. The expanded workspace, combined with time-saving drag and drop functionality, allows users to create and update labels and business rules with ease.
 
“The changes we made to the UI are based on ongoing engagement and extensive feedback from our customers,” stated Josh Roffman, Loftware VP Product Management. “Our goal is to ensure that it’s quick and easy to update labels to meet evolving customer and regulatory requirements, without relying on scarce IT resources. Spectrum’s new intuitive interface takes usability to the next level, optimizing performance and creating new efficiencies for everyday business users,” he added.
 
Spectrum 4.2 also expands customer’s ability to use their phone, IPad or other mobile devices. This provides the flexibility to make changes and manage label printing right from the warehouse, factory floor, or from other any other site that requires on-demand label printing. Further enhancements include support for Postgress and Oracle Database.
