We are seeking a supply chain professional with well-rounded business process and analytical experience to join our consulting team. This candidate will ensure successful execution of activities related to assigned consulting projects that include transportation strategy assessments, process and systems optimization, system selection and implementation, and modeling and analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience in the transportation industry with strategic assessments, systems implementation, lean process mapping, and general problem-solving to drive value to our clients.
What you will do:
Consult with clients and internal resources to define problems/opportunities and provide appropriate recommendations for possible solutions, considering upstream and downstream processes impacted by or influencing transportation decisions.
Conduct interviews to document business process flows and system integrations, then develop flow assessments.
Run analysis with various data sets and tools to understand client current state understanding and project future state scenarios.
Collect and document business and system requirements, and functional and technical specifications.
Support system configuration, testing, and user training.
Support project management functions such as
Documentation management
Scheduling
Creation of status reports and meeting minutes
Issue management, resolution, and escalation
Risk mitigation
Completion of deliverables in timely manner
Perform organizational development duties such as researching and writing articles for publication as well as prepare and present enVista internal projects.
Stay updated on new services, processes, technologies, and industry trends.
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or related fields
1-3 years of relevant experience
Experience using or integrating TMS with ERP, WMS, YMS systems
Experience conducting general transportation and shipment data analysis along with an understanding of how transportation impacts overall supply chain operations
Outstanding ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; Ability to clearly/concisely communicate with clients, associates, management, and general stakeholders; Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills; Ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology
Adaptability to changes in work (i.e. new client requirements or specifications) and working hours to accommodate busy periods
Strong analytic abilities required to turn mass data into project insights
Drive to troubleshoot issues, proactively identify, communicate on, and resolve issues and is comfortable pushing for satisfactory root cause analysis, either independently or with stakeholders
Drive to ask questions frequently and engage in and retain meaningful knowledge transfer to master business goals and processes
Anticipated travel would be 50-75%
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere within the United States
