Director of Marketing

Working in close collaboration with enVista’s CMO, product development team, and other internal stakeholders, the Commerce Solutions Marketing Leader, will help determine and effectively implement enVista’s go-to-market strategy, and will own primary responsibility for determining and developing effective marketing messaging, programs and integrated marketing campaigns that drive significant market awareness, momentum and new business for enVista’s commerce solutions to meet enVista’s revenue targets and growth plans. This role both strategically plans and executes marketing programs and writes and develops materials to support marketing and sales execution and measures, analyzes and reports results against KPIs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Demonstrate and convey strong understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, enVista’s value propositions, solutions capabilities, and solutions selling approach to solve client challenges
Firmly understand buyer personas and pain points in order to effectively communicate how enVista’s Commerce Solutions (Order Management, Point of Sale, EDI, etc.) address those challenges
Develop, plan and execute integrated marketing programs that build sales pipeline and drive new business opportunities within the market for new client acquisition and new business within enVista’s existing client base
Collaborate with enVista’s Enspire Product Marketing team to turn product vision into market vision, thought leadership and new business
Manage direct report(s) with an understanding of enVista’s culture to ensure focus, efficiency, target outcomes and associates’ professional growth
Maintain primary responsibility for writing and developing a wealth of compelling marketing messages and offers that educate, persuade and convert prospective clients into buyers
Help direct the digital strategy for enVista’s commerce solutions to generate new business
Cultivate strong and collaborative working relationships with cross-functional team members
Closely collaborate with marketing team members to foster synergies and ensure optimal project outcomes
Communicate marketing plans and results with internal stakeholders
Work with enVista’s alliance and commerce partners to develop programs that expand enVista’s marketing reach and lead gen efforts
Maintain, manage and communicate updated campaign plans and calendar
Create email sequences and lead nurturing campaigns that support enVista’s target personas and buyer journey to convert prospects and existing clients into buyers
Understand how enVista’s commerce platform relates to and drives added value for other solution areas in order to market bundled solutions to the market and among enVista clients
Effectively leverage marketing automation solutions, including CRM and HubSpot
Adhere to and update enVista’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency of execution and best practices
Work with inside sales resources to schedule meetings and other follow up
Tack and analyze effectiveness of campaigns and report results to marketing leadership
Collaborate with CMO and other internal stakeholders to develop budget and target objectives to support revenue goals
Oversee and manage associated vendor relationships
Collaborate with entire marketing team to integrate and support larger marketing efforts

Skills & Abilities:         

Firm understanding of integrated marketing
Ability to approach work from a strategic perspective and identify processes and gaps, yet also manage and execute tactics at a very detailed level
Ability to adapt and be flexible if/when plans must be revised
Proven experience implementing direct marketing campaigns and best practices
Strong project management capabilities and ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives
Exceptional writing, proof writing, and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft CRM, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience with email automation programs, especially HubSpot beneficial
Graphic design experience beneficial


15+ years of progressive marketing experience required
Education (preferred level): Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
Pass any pre-employment tests, drug test, and/or background check
